As we slowly enter the fall season, it’s a great time to see plants in transition. The beautiful and unique artichokes that were blooming earlier this summer are now dried up plants that look like giant dandelions that you should blow on and make a wish. The “fluffs” on the artichokes are actually seeds being released by the dry artichoke heads. Though not in bloom, these artichokes still have a sense of beauty about them. Find out what else you’ll come across on your next visit to the Garden in Georgiann Keller’s audio tour below.
