IMPRESSIONIST’S MEADOW PESTO CHICKEN SANDWICH
The colorful plants and open green of the Upper Meadow inspired this picnic-perfect sandwich. Served toasty warm on rosemary-infused ciabatta, stuffed with rotisserie chicken, Havarti cheese, sweet red peppers and garden-fresh pesto. Served with a side of kettle chips.

HIDE AND SEEK GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH
Sink your teeth into an upgraded childhood favorite, inspired by our Hide and Seek exhibit of eight semi permanent fine art sculptures. Mild cheddar meets Havarti cheese in a romantic entanglement, all melted to perfection on oven-toasted ciabatta bread. Served with a side of kettle chips. 

LIVING WALL SALAD
The many textures and colors of our Living Wall have inspired this salad of mixed greens, served with  heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, Kalamata olives and feta cheese (vegan by request) with a side of lemon garlic dressing.

POLLINATOR’S SANDWICH 
The butterflies, bees and birds are all abuzz about this new take on the PB&J sandwich. Soft and fresh  white bread is slathered with peanut butter, clover honey and sliced bananas in a perfect partnership. Served with a side of kettle chips.

ROSE GARDEN SNACKING WAFFLE
Inspired by the sweet scents of our Bohannon Rose Garden and the crisscross shape of its Celebration Trellis, this scrumptious oven-baked Belgian waffle is topped with chocolate sauce, and whipped cream and served with a side of Bon Mammon French strawberry preserves with a light sprinkling of garden fresh mint. 

RARE FRUIT ORCHARD CHURRO 
The scented breeze and summertime harvest in the Rare Fruit Orchard inspired this sweet treat. Our churros are oven-baked and hand rolled in cinnamon and sugar and then finished off with a light essence of citrus.

Inspired by the Mediterranean climate that makes our growing conditions so wonderful at South Coast Botanic Garden, this boxed meal includes hummus, pita, Kalamata olives and spinach dip served with  fresh vegetables and a sweet treat.

BACK 40 BRATWURST 
After a walk through the Back 40 Acres of our public garden, you will have worked up an appetite worthy of this sandwich. Pork bratwurst braised to perfection in a bath of Smog City IPA, served in a sesame seeded bun with an optional side of sauerkraut. 

FLUTTERBY FLUFFERNUTTER SANDWICH 
Inspired by the sugary nectar of our year-long blooms, this delicious concoction will tempt your sweet  tooth while satisfying your hunger. Chunky peanut butter is slathered on thick soft white bread and layered with marshmallow spread in a sandwich marriage you will not soon forget.
