Show the dads in your life that you love them like gnome-body else! Come celebrate Father’s Day with our ‘Gnome Sweet Gnome’ Father’s Day Weekend from June 18-20. If the name of the event hasn’t given it away yet, there will be gnomes hidden throughout the Garden for a fun scavenger hunt – you’ll need to roam to find the gnomes! It also happens to be National Gnome Day (yes, it’s a real thing) on June 21, so your visit can be in honor of both holidays!

If gnomes aren’t your dad’s thing, that’s OK.  The Bar Society, Inc. will also be back in the Garden during the weekend after a successful Mother’s Day event. They will be selling craft beer and cocktails as well as charcuterie boards. The bars will be open the same times as Mother’s Day – Friday and Saturday Happy Hour from  3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The locations of the bars are to be announced as the weekend gets closer. Both the drinks and the boxes are available while supplies last.

Please remember that while we know it will be difficult to resist the urge to sip your yummy drinks while walking around our beautiful 87 acres, we do ask that people who want to consume any food or beverages enjoy them while seated in one of our designated picnic areas.

June is a magical time in the Garden with the Bohannon Rose Garden continuing to bloom into summer and our Lavender Garden beginning to bloom as well. It’s a must-visit time in general, but celebrating dad here will make it all the more special.

Tickets to the ‘Gnome Sweet Gnome’ Father’s Day Weekend are the same as regular Garden Admission. Cost is free for Members and $15 for Adults, $11 for Seniors (62 and over) and Students (with ID), $5 for Children ages 5 – 12, and free for Children 4 and under.

The Garden has remained open to serve the community by being a place to encourage wellness and health through nature and open space. Please help keep us open by considering a gift to the Garden. You can do so here.
