Thomas Dambo’s TROLLS: Save the Humans brought us three and half months of whimsy and wisdom while sharing their mission – save humans by teaching them how to reconnect with nature. These six Trolls, each with unique personalities, connected with us and made the serious conversation about sustainability lighter and fun.  With their departure on January 15, you only have one more weekend to come say your goodbyes.  In our final farewell to them below, we thank them for what they have taught us.

Ronja Redeye, the Speaker Troll, inspired us to speak out when something is wrong and to work together to find solutions. Thank you, Ronja!

Ibbi Pip, the Birdhouse Troll, inspired us to find ways to safely share our spaces with nature through birdhouses. Thank you, Ibbi!

Basse Buller, the Painting Troll, taught us to use our creative talents to connect and inspire others. Thank you, Basse!

Rosa Sunfinger, the Botanical Troll, taught us that gardening is a sustainable way to bring joy to humans and nature. Thank you Rosa!

Sofus Lotus, the Listening Troll, inspired us to listen to the earth and look out for subtle changes in our environment and how those changes affect everyone. Thank you, Sofus!

Kamma Can, the Trash Troll, inspired us to look at our trash differently and be mindful of what should be thrown out, recycled or repurposed. Thank you, Kamma Can!

While we greatly enjoyed spending time with Thomas Dambo’s TROLLS: Save the Humans, we wish them luck as they continue their mission at the Philly Zoo!
