It’s the week of Independence Day, and many tropical plants are shining as bright as the fireworks in the sky, including the stunning red banana flowers and the foliage and flowers planted in the modern section of the Dorothy and John Bohannon Rose Garden. Listen to Gerogiann Keller’s audio blog below to learn more about what’s blooming in the Garden this week. Then invite a friend to see these blooms in person. Remember to bring your walking shoes and sunscreen. Cool off with an ice cream from the Garden’s kiosk in Palm Circle!
