From the installation of a new water-wise garden along the Promenade to an invasion of tulips for the spring Super Bloom to the flutter of thousands of butterflies at SOAR, we have endeavored to bring more joyful experiences to our community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for sticking by us during the various changes, all of which were intended for your safety.

As our capacity limits have lifted, we are now able to show our appreciation by adjusting the reservation system for our Members in July. We are thankful for your continuous feedback, and we have heard your questions regarding Member admission. In response, we are starting a new system on a trial basis. Beginning July 1, Members will not need reservations for General Garden Admission Monday through Friday. Reservations will still be required for Members on Saturdays and Sundays to allow us to better manage our parking availability. Member reservations will also still be required for special experiences like SOAR, GLOW and for you and your dog(s) during our Dog Walking Hours. Non-Members will continue needing advanced, timed reservations for all visits. So if you’re not a Member yet, now’s a good time to become one

If you’re a Member, here’s how you visit the Garden during the week:

  • Find your membership card (or upload your digital card).
  • Come to the SCBG’s front window.
  • Help a smiling guest services associate assist you in scanning your card and check you in.
  • Enjoy the trails, meadows, and fresh air.

Advanced reservations will still be available if you desire faster check-in.

Please do not hesitate to contact us at membership@scbgf.org if you have questions about your membership card or visiting the Garden. You can also get more information to plan your next visit here

The Garden has remained open to serve the community by being a place to encourage wellness and health through nature and open space. Please help keep us open for years to come by considering a gift to the Garden. You can do so here.
