Spend your Thursday nights in the Garden surrounded by nature and entranced by music during this after-hours event beginning June 20.
Our Sunset Series is heading back for its third season! Guests can roam our 87 acres, experience Bloom!, sip on a cocktail or grab a bite to eat while enjoying the Garden’s natural beauty, yard games and music. The young at heart will be entertained in our Kids’ Zone by the fun and energetic Ms. Allison – think parachutes, obstacle courses, lawn bowling, bubbles and more! While we provide the fun, parents still provide the supervision.* And, of course, the cherry on top is each week’s musical performance (see line up here). The musicians will do two 45-minute sets.
GO VIP: Want an exclusive experience? We are offering an enhanced VIP ticket this year! With VIP, you’ll get premium seating area (still bring a blanket or lawn chair), access to the VIP bar, one free Hard Butterfly Palmer per ticketholder, a free SCBG souvenir light-up cup, 30 minutes of VIP time with Miss Allison, unlimited access to SOAR – Tropical Butterflies throughout the night and early entry into the Garden (5 p.m. rather than 5:30 p.m.).
*Parents are asked to chaperone their child at all times. Children under 3 must be accompanied inside the play area at all times. Also please note, no outside food and beverage will be allowed during our Sunset Series.

Experience Live Music
Location: Upper Meadow
Times: 6 to 6:45 p.m. and 7:15 to 8:00 p.m.
Every Thursday night features a unique, lively performance on our Upper Meadow. From a Jimmy Buffett tribute band headlining our kickoff to summer to Jerry Costanzos crooning from the “the Classic American Playlist,” there’s something for everyone. Play in the Kids’ Zone
Location: Lower Meadow
Times: 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
You may remember the uber fun and energetic Ms. Allison from our popular Movin’ and Groovin’ class a few years ago… and now she’s back! Join Ms. Allison in the Kids’ Zone for some serious fun – think parachutes, lawn bowling, obstacle courses, bubbles and more. The Kids’ Zone is located in the Lower Meadow. For everyone’s safety, parents are asked to chaperone their child at all times. Children under 3 must be accompanied inside the play area at all times.
Grab a Bite from Dottie’s Koi Pond Menu
Location: Near the Koi Pond
Times: 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
This year, our food and beverage offerings will be conveniently located closer to the Upper Meadow. Come check out our Dottie’s Koi Pond Menu during Sunset Series which includes brats, vegan dogs, charcuterie and more. Grab a cocktail or glass of wine to enjoy throughout our 87 acres. If you’re looking for cold snack, we will have non-alcoholic beverages and ice cream available at the Kiosk in Palm Circle. Explore the Garden’s 87 Acres, Including Bloom!

As we mentioned, Sunset Series is your only opportunity to explore the Garden after-hours, and trust us, you don’t want to miss it. Seeing the Garden as the sun begins to set is truly a magical experience, and during Sunset Series, our entire 87 acres are open for you to explore! That means experiencing the Garden in a whole new way. Plus, you can still explore Bloom! for the first few weeks as it runs through June.
Have Upclose and Personal Time with the Butterflies
Location: SOAR – Tropical Butterflies
Times: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Note: SOAR is only available for VIP ticket holders
Have you always wanted to spend a little quality time with the butterflies in our SOAR – Tropical Butterflies exhibit? Well, a Sunset Series VIP ticket gets you UNLIMITED access to the pavilion throughout the night. That means, you can spend as much time as you’d like with our fluttering friends. And since the sun will be setting, they’ll be a little less active so you’ll really get to be up close and personal with them.
