Thomas Dambo’s TROLLS: Save the Humans opened this Sunday and we could not be more excited to have six friendly Trolls visiting us for the next few months. Just like humans, each Troll has their own personality and talents to share with the world. While the Trolls would love to share more about themselves personally, they asked us to help get their message out to other humans. To do so, we are launching a weekly Troll of the Week series to introduce you to each one. Our first Troll of the Week is Rosa Sunfinger, the Botanical Troll.
Rosa is always looking for ways to bring nature and joy back into spaces that were abandoned by humans and nothing makes her happier than flowers. She decided that she would help us reconnect with nature by taking the tops off “the smelly metal boxes humans run around in” and filling them with flowers to make them smell better. When you visit Rosa, you’ll notice she is reaching her hands into a small car full of bright flowers to show us her vision. Rosa Sunfinger’s Fun Facts:
- She is a little over 11 feet tall
- Her mother named her Rosa Sunfinger because she’s as good for the plants as sunshine and water
- She is a little shy and introverted but isn’t afraid to speak up when she needs to
- She is kind and always has a soft sunny smile on her cheeks
