While we still have chilly mornings in the Garden, the warmer afternoons make for a great walk through the Garden. Throughout our 87 acres, flowers are beginning to bloom in warm shades of orange, pink and yellow. The hybrid trumpet tree is filling up with pastel pink and yellow flowers and the sweet olive is creating a beautiful scent making the Upper Meadow a delightful place to put down a picnic blanket and soak in the sun. For more information on what’s blooming in the Garden, listen to Georgiann Keller’s audio blog below, then come see them in person. The Garden makes the perfect backdrop for a romantic date, and if you’re here February 11 and 12, stop by Dottie’s to make a small bouquet and a heartfelt Valentine’s Day card at our Make-and-Take station. Both activities are available for free while supplies last.
