Sometimes plants have the perfect common name that describes it perfectly. One great example of that is the shrimp plant which is currently blooming in the Garden in the demonstration beds. The shrimp plant blooms nearly year-round and is a favorite of hummingbirds. Find out what else to look for on your next visit to the Garden in Georgiann Keller’s audio blog below. And please note, the Garden’s hours will change to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in October with last entry to the Garden at 4:30 p.m.
