It’s another week of cool misty mornings and warm afternoons at the Garden, the perfect setting to think about planting for spring. Fall is the time to sow seeds, and if you need some inspiration, visit the Kiosk for iris rhizomes, ranunculus corms, or starter flowers to add to your home garden for a vibrant spring bloom. While we’re still enjoying the blooms this week, our focus is also on the lush foliage—particularly the fluffy grasses spread throughout the Garden and the impressive staghorn ferns in the Dorothy and Alan Lay Staghorn Fern Collection. Don’t forget to listen to Georgiann Keller’s audio blog as you scroll through the pictures below to learn more about what’s blooming. Then, lace up your walking shoes and see it all for yourself!
