As the weather heats up and we move further into summer, the Garden continues to transform into the season, too. A number of new tropical blooms help remind us the summer months are just beginning – including the various canna blooming throughout the Garden, plumeria and Mexican tree marigold. While there are many new summer blooms, one area has been holding strong since the early days of spring – the Dorothy and John Bohannon Rose Garden. The rose blooms here are STILL worthy of a visit. And just in the nick of time, the Lavender garden has also begun its summer bloom. Take a listen to Georgiann Keller’s latest audio blog below, and then come see these beautiful blooms for yourself.
