What’s Blooming in the Garden: May 5

As soon as you walk through the Garden’s gates you are greeted with vibrant colors, and they continue throughout your visit. The Rose Garden remains a centerpiece, but if you’re a regular visitor, you won’t be disappointed with the new blooms popping up daily, some of which are included in Garden volunteer Georgiann Keller’s audio tour your below. New blooms this week include yellow angel trumpets (which are a magnet for hummingbirds!), desert mallow and sticky monkey-flowers, which are a favorite of Keller’s.  So before you head to the Garden next, be sure to take a listen so you’ll know what areas to pay special attention to.
