This week of “What’s Blooming in the Garden,” volunteer Georgiann Keller not only provides updates of what’s currently blooming at South Coast Botanic Garden, she also provides valuable information on what visitors will experience if they visit with our temporary new procedures to ensure everyone’s health and safety. Take a listen, and if you’ve never seen our Living Wall, we’ve included a photo below!

The Living Wall is a 400-square-foot vertical garden. The wall is made of a heavy-duty felt that holds the small bare-root plants. The plants are nurtured hydroponically with a unique irrigation system that nourishes the plant roots with water behind the felt structure.

To help support the Garden during these times, please consider making a donation. You can do so here.
