After the past couple of years we’ve all had, we’d like to give a special thank you to both teachers and first responders who have been at the forefront of the pandemic. In their honor, we’ve created two new nights at GLOW to thank these heroes for their service.

For teachers, we’re introducing Teacher Tuesdays! We invite educators to enjoy GLOW on Tuesday evenings at 8:00, 8:15, or 8:30 p.m. for FREE January 4 and January 11. The teacher will receive free admission (that’s a $34.99 value!) with proof of qualifying work status as a teacher or teacher’s aid. A work ID is best for us to verify your work status. Others in the group who do not work as a teacher will need a paid ticket.

For first responders, we’d like to invite you to our Thankful Thursdays – come enjoy GLOW for FREE during our 8:00, 8:15 or 8:30 p.m. time slots! The first responder will receive free admission with proof of work status as a hospital worker, firefighter, or police officer. A work ID is best for this. Others in the group who do not work as first responders will need a paid ticket. Thankful Thursdays will take place January 6 and January 13.

Please note, while Teachers and First Responders will not require a reservation for entry, advanced reservations for your guests are required and may be booked online or by calling 424-452-0920. GLOW runs until 10 p.m. and will have snacks for sale as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Enjoy GLOW and thank you for your service!!

The Garden relies on generous donations from our Members, visitors and community to keep access to our 87 acres open for all and to provide unique horticultural experiences that help people find connections with nature. Please help us continue this mission for years to come by considering a gift to the Garden. You can do so here.
