Our Sunset Series is heading back for its fourth season! Guests can roam our 87 acres, experience Bamboozled: An Unexpected Bamboo Adventure, sip on a cocktail or grab a bite to eat while enjoying the Garden’s natural beauty, yard games and music. The young at heart will be entertained in our Kids’ Zone by the fun and energetic Miss Allison – think parachutes, obstacle courses, lawn bowling, bubbles and more! While we provide the fun, parents still provide the supervision.* And, of course, the cherry on top is each week’s musical performance (see line up here). The musicians will do two 45-minute sets.
GO VIP: Want an exclusive experience? Get access to a premium seating area with Adirondack Chairs for your convenience (no need to bring your own chairs!), access to the VIP bar, 30 minutes of VIP time with Miss Allison, unlimited access to SOAR – Tropical Butterflies throughout the night, early entry into the Garden (5 p.m. rather than 5:30 p.m.) and one free Hard Butterfly Palmer per ticketholder. Note: on Smog City Brewing Company nights, guests will receive a complimentary beer instead.
*Parents are asked to chaperone their child at all times. Children under 3 must be accompanied inside the play area at all times. Also please note, no outside food and beverage will be allowed during our Sunset Series.

Experience Live Music
Location: Upper Meadow
Times: 6 to 6:45 p.m. and 7:15 to 8:00 p.m.
Every Thursday night features a unique, lively performance on our Upper Meadow. From the return to Margaritaville with a Jimmy Buffett tribute band to a five-piece band fusing old-school funk, silky jazz, classic ’80s and ’90s R&B and more, there’s something for everyone. Play in the Kids’ Zone
Location: Lower Meadow
Times: 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
You may remember the uber fun and energetic Miss Allison from our popular Movin’ and Groovin’ class a few years ago… and now she’s back! Join Miss Allison in the Kids’ Zone for some serious fun – think parachutes, lawn bowling, obstacle courses, bubbles and more. The Kids’ Zone is located in the Lower Meadow. For everyone’s safety, parents are asked to chaperone their child at all times. Children under 3 must be accompanied inside the play area at all times.
Grab a Bite from Dottie’s Koi Pond Menu
Location: Near the Koi Pond
Times: 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Come check out our Dottie’s at the Koi Pond menu during the Sunset Series, which features some new offerings this year. Grab a cocktail or glass of wine to enjoy throughout our 87 acres. If you’re looking for cold snack, we will have non-alcoholic beverages and ice cream available at the Kiosk in Palm Circle. Our full series menu will be announced soon!
Explore the Garden’s 87 Acres, Including Bamboozled: An Unexpected Bamboo Adventure

As we mentioned, Sunset Series is your only opportunity to explore the Garden after-hours, and trust us, you don’t want to miss it. Seeing the Garden as the sun begins to set is truly a magical experience, and during Sunset Series, our entire 87 acres are open for you to explore! That means experiencing the Garden in a whole new way. Plus, you can explore Bamboozled and see the 8 monumental bird sculptures in a whole new light! for the first few weeks as it runs through June.
Have Up Close and Personal Time with the Butterflies
Location: SOAR – Tropical Butterflies
Times: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Note: SOAR is only available for VIP ticket holders
Have you always wanted to spend a little quality time with the butterflies in our SOAR – Tropical Butterflies exhibit? Well, a Sunset Series VIP ticket gets you UNLIMITED access to the pavilion throughout the night. That means, you can spend as much time as you’d like with our fluttering friends. And since the sun will be setting, they’ll be a little less active so you’ll really get to be up close and personal with them.
