Life is hard. We know that as humans, but as plants, it can be just as tough. Plants – and animals, for that matter – must adapt to their surroundings in order to survive. Here in the Garden, we have many examples of plants that have adapted in order to survive in the heat of a desert. In our latest Seeds of Fun activity, we will be exploring these garden adaptations. This brand new activity sheet will send you on a scavenger hunt to find certain plants that represent garden adaptions. It also provides fun facts and puts your connect-the-dots skills to good use! Download the activity sheet in advance below, or it will also be available at the Visitor Service window when you check in starting Wednesday, August 4.

The Garden has remained open to serve the community by being a place to encourage wellness and health through nature and open space. Please help keep us open for years to come by considering a gift to the Garden. You can do so here.
