On your next visit to the Garden, head to Alpine Lane to explore our conifer collection. But before you go, make sure you download our new Conifer Exploration Page that will help your little ones (or you!) learn all about these trees. If you forget to download it before you come, rest assured, we will have copies available upon your arrival to the Garden.
This exploration page is not only educational, but it gets your little ones away from the computer screen and into nature, learning about it hands-on. They will learn about the taxonomy of Torrey Pines and humans, photosynthesis and the tallest conifer in the world. There’s also a little sensory activity to enjoy as well!
