If you can believe it, the holiday season is almost upon us! This time of the year is all about spending quality time with the people we love and celebrating traditions. The Garden’s mission is to be a place that connects ALL to the wonders of nature, and that includes during the holiday season! November Workshop Experiences:
Hummingbird Flights: Make Your Own Feeders Using Recycled Wine Bottles
2 – 3:30 p.m. Saturday, November 9
Get your garden buzzing with pollinator activity while enjoying wine flights! Gather your friends to create a hummingbird feeder from recycled wine bottles and learn all about plant pairings and maintenance to attract these lively visitors. Your class ticket includes Garden admission and three wine tastings! Plus, the final product – an upcycled hummingbird feeder – makes the perfect gift for any bird – or wine – lovers on your gift list.

Parent & Me: Bug Expedition
10 – 11 a.m. Sunday, November 10
Calling all junior entomologists! November’s Parent and Me: Bug Expedition is all about bug behavior during the colder moths of the year. Learn more about the bugs in the Garden and create your own identification guide to use here and at home. Each child will receive a magnifying glass, notebook, pencil, and crayons to record their discoveries. All supplies are provided, and the expedition happens rain or shine! To sign up, click here!

Autumn Leaves: Fresh Flower Crowns
2 – 3:30 p.m. Saturday, November 16
Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll craft beautiful flower crowns using fresh plant material. Set in the vibrant Garden, you’ll learn the art of flower crown making from skilled instructors. As you weave together petals and leaves, you’ll enjoy the therapeutic benefits of working with nature and exploring the cultural significance of flowers. Mega Meditation Class: Create Your Own Light
11 a.m.– noon Sunday, November 17
The holidays can be a stressful time. Join us for a unique guided meditation inspired by the changing seasons, designed to help you find peace during the year’s darkest days. Cozy Crafting: DIY Candle Making
11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 2 – 3:30 p.m. Saturday, November 23
Join us for a festive and creative journey as you craft your very own holiday scented candle! Enjoy a seasonal beverage while learning all about the tradition of candle making, as well as its connection to aromatherapy! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the art of candle-making while infusing your creation with seasonal aromas that evoke the warmth and joy of the holidays. Plus, candles are the perfect gift! DIY Wreath Making Party
11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Saturday, November 30
Join us in the Garden for one of our annual California Winter Wreath Workshop. Learn how to select and arrange various botanical elements, exploring different colors, textures and shapes to bring your vision to life. Take pride in your handcrafted wreath, a unique piece that can grace your front door, serve as home decor, or be given as a heartfelt gift to a loved one. You will have access to all of the hardware and tools necessary to build your wreath, as well as an array of plant materials to choose from.
