Every month we look for new and exciting ways to engage with Garden visitors through our hunts. While fun was had with our Family FUN Hunt, we’re going to paint the Garden red with our August hunt – well, not literally. The Color Me Pretty Hunt is your chance (or your kids’ chance) to be a showcased artist! Grab a map at the entrance and head off to find 6 locations where you’ll learn about the area’s color, design and more. At each spot, you’ll find a coloring page that you can color here in the Garden or take home with you.

When your masterpiece is complete, exchange it for a prize at the kiosk in Palm Circle and we’ll display your work of art on our Artists’ Wall for all to see throughout the month of August – so be sure to sign it! Are you a master drawer? You don’t have to use our coloring pages to get showcased. Turn in any drawing or painting inspired by the Garden and we’ll display it on our wall throughout the month of August! And if you’re not a budding artist, that’s OK. This is for artists at every level.

While we will have a small amount of crayons available on site, it is recommended that you bring your own supplies. We also ask that you help us keep the Garden in tip-top shape and do not leave any crayons, pencil remnants or coloring pages in the Garden.

This hunt will be taking place throughout the month of August and is included with General Garden Admission. We can’t wait to see what you all create!

The Garden relies on generous donations from our Members, visitors and community to keep access to our 87 acres open for all and to provide unique horticultural experiences that help people find connections with nature. Please help us continue this mission for years to come by considering a gift to the Garden. You can do so here.
