With the opening of Sean Kenney’s Nature POP! back in November, we also launched our new accessibility shuttle to ensure everyone was able to experience the exhibit. While Nature POP! came to a close on January 24, our accessibility shuttle will remain – though with a few changes.

For the foreseeable future, our accessibility shuttle will be in active service on the weekends and available by request on weekdays. Requests for the shuttle should be made during your visit to the Garden, not before arriving. To request a ride on the shuttle, you can mention it to a Guest Services representative at check-in, or call 424-452-0920 once you’re at the shuttle pick-up location. When the shuttle is in active service on the weekends, a Ranger will be stationed with the shuttle to offer rides to those in need.

While the shuttle will continue picking up at the top of the Desert Garden, there will no longer be a stop at the back of the Garden. The shuttle ride will be a continuous loop around Tram Road to ensure those with mobility limitations can see as much of the Garden’s 87 aces as possible.  While priority seating goes to those with mobility issues, the accessibility shuttle will be available to all.

We are excited to continue to offer this amenity to our guests as we strive to be a Garden for all.
