Made for 4 people (you can add additional people for an added fee), these curated picnics include a photo opportunity and a picnic box filled with a variety of bite-sized snacks, cured meats, cheeses and dessert! These picnics are a perfect way to make Mom feel special without having to take on the stress of planning it all yourself!  For Mother’s Day, all Bespoke Picnics will take place in Hawks Meadow. Preorder a Mother’s Day Picnic Box for a smooth and easy day! This Picnic-for-4 Box includes a trio of gourmet sandwiches—cucumber and cream cheese, turkey with tomato and lettuce and classic chicken salad. Enjoy a generous spread of assorted cheeses, crackers, fresh and dried fruits, mixed nuts, crisp veggies and savory salami, paired with a selection of dips, jam and honey for the ultimate snacking experience. This box is ideal for sharing and only available through pre-order, so don’t expect to buy it on the day of. Deadline to order is May 8!

Get Immersed with SOAR – Tropical Butterflies 

Back for its 5th year, SOAR has become a tradition for so many, and we are thrilled to be opening it just in time for Mom to enjoy on her special day! SOAR features hundreds of tropical butterflies, a Host and Nectar Garden and an Emergence Chamber where you may just see a butterfly emerge from its pupa! This year’s exhibit will feature new interpretive signage and refreshed plantings. Want an even more unique experience? Guests will again have the opportunity to purchase the Butterfly Feeding Experience for an additional $6. This gets you a flower vial filled with nectar to use while inside the pavilion to help entice butterflies to come close to you for the optimum and most immersive experience.

Why plan a boring brunch inside when you can come to the Garden and enjoy a bite to eat or cocktail from Dottie’s at the Koi Pond + Bamboo Bar?  While our regular offerings will be available throughout Mother’s Day weekend, we will also be serving a Bistro Box for Two featuring a fresh turkey sandwich with lettuce and tomato, an assortment of cheeses and crackers, crisp veggies, a flavorful dip, and a mix of fresh and dried fruits. It’s finished with assorted nuts for the perfect savory crunch. This box is just right for a laid-back, delicious picnic for two.
