If you’ve never experienced the electrifying energy of a dueling piano show, or you’ve never seen one in the middle of a garden, now is your chance— Pianomania! is coming to our Sunset Series on Thursday, June 19, and it promises to be a night to remember.
Pianiomania! isn’t just a concert—it’s a full-blown spectacle. With powerhouse performers Neil Morrow and Scott Doyle, and show creator Dwight Kennedy on drums and MC duties, this high-octane trio transforms a simple piano show into an unforgettable musical celebration filled with laughter, spontaneity and audience participation.
Founded in 2000 by Dwight Kennedy, Pianomania! is approaching its 25th anniversary—and it’s only getting better. With performances spanning theaters, clubs, cruise ships and international stages, this will be the group’s first-ever performance at a botanical garden. And what better setting than the lush, open-air beauty of our 87 acres?
This will also be the Garden’s first time hosting a dueling piano show, but here’s some insights into what we can all expect:
-
Your Requests, Their Show – There’s no setlist here. Audience song requests drive the night. Whether it’s Elton John, Taylor Swift, Queen, Journey or something unexpected, this trio is ready to deliver.
-
Genre-Jumping Greatness – Rock, country, party classics, dance anthems, pop, soul—you name it, they’ll play it.
-
Big Laughs and Bigger Talent – With comedic banter, surprise dance breaks, and off-the-cuff musical pranks, this show keeps everyone on their toes.
-
Interactive Energy – From sing-alongs to shout-outs, you’re not just watching the show—you’re in it.
Why You Should Be There
