Instructor Hisako Asano will teach you how to create paintings of nature that capture the soft-colored art form that is expressed in her techniques. You will learn to mix and blend colors and manipulate 3-D values with a single stroke.

About the Instructor:

Hisako Asano has a M.F.A. in Design from University of Southern California (USC) and was a Professor at University of Southern California, Loyola Marymount University and Los Angeles County Museum of Art with over 45 years of teaching experience.


Materials List:

1.5” Hake Brush, 11” x 15” Strathmore Series Watercolor Paper, water container, Viva brand paper towels, watercolor palette, transparent watercolor in tube: Alizarin Crimson, Burnt Sienna, Sap Green, Lemon Yellow, Indio, Prussian Blue, Yellow Ochre.
