Join the Palos Verdes Symphonic Band celebration of the beauty and wonder of Mother Nature.  The band will perform concert band originals as well as transcriptions from the classical realm, all inspired by or depicting the natural world, including works by Aaron Copland, Percy Grainger, and Eric Whitacre. Pack your own picnic, blanket and chairs or purchase food throughout the day. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase.


Mother’s Day in the Garden will feature-

Concert by the Palos Verdes Symphonic Band from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Food and Drink for purchase from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Vendors Are Welcome Too — Join in the Fun!

Vendors are invited to participate in 2020 Mother’s Day on May 10th in the Garden!

Vendors are required to submit an application and payment in exchange for the opportunity to be featured as a vendor throughout the day.

Outside Vendors are any groups that wish to set up a booth and sell items at the Festival. Things to note about outside vendors:

  • Each group needs to submit an application (via the link above) in order to apply.
  • Submitting an application does not guarantee a spot. We will reach out letting them know if they are accepted.
  • We will select and mark off a 10×10 spot for each group- vendors will receive spot assignment upon check-in. Please note that the event will take place in the Garden so there is a change that booth will be on grass or dirt. If group has specific needs as it ties to their product, please reach out to learning@southcoastbotanicgarden.org to make a special request. 
  • Outside vendors are required to bring and set up all of their own equipment and supplies. They must be completely self-sufficient in loading and unloading. SCBG Staff will not be able to help with transporting any vendor supplies or equipment. 
  • Outside vendors are required to take their own payments. They must be able to take payment in the form of cash and credit card in order to ensure the best guest experience.
