Born and raised in a conservative coastal town of Toyama, Japan, Shinichiro Kawasaki has been on a search. The journey led him to Osaka for college education, then Los Angeles for musical encounters with the likes of Lee Takasugi and Visiting Violette, Chili Charles of Mike Oldfield fame, and Los Desnudos who he co-founded and gained his Independent Music Awards (Jam category) nomination with. As a composer/producer he has also contributed music for various purposes and causes including SanDisk, House Foods and Japan Self-Defense Airforce. He released 1st self-titled solo effort in 2010, blending styles ranging from technopop, prog, jazz fusion and metal, gaining another nom for Independent Music Awards. He continues to work with acts such as Jazz, Bossa Nova and Retro styling of Alanna Vicente (and These Fine Gentlemen), TV/game show theme song tribute band The Remotes (who has been the house band at Daytime Emmy Awards from 2013 on), and South Bay-based Classic/Yacht Rock extraordinaire Retrofit.
