Our top 6 our favorite spots:

The Upper Meadow:  When the Upper Meadow underwent its refresh last year, the landscape designers made it a point to always have something blooming in the area. This makes it one of the best spots to take pictures year-round. The Upper Meadow also has a gazebo and pergola that make great photo locations.

The Dorothy and John Bohannon Rose Garden: This area is stunning and makes for gorgeous pictures in the Spring and early Fall when all the roses are in bloom. The pergola, cabanas and water fountain also make for beautiful backdrops.

Desert Collection: Another Garden classic is our Desert Collection. During the Spring and Summer the cacti are covered in delicate blooms ranging from soft white to bright pinks and orange. The interesting shapes of the cacti and succulents make for a unique background all year long.

The Amphitheater: If you want the tropical holiday look minus the plane ticket then you have to check out the plants leading up to the Amphitheater. The monstera pictured above is abundant and makes for the perfect tropical backdrop.

The Amphitheater Lawn: Going just past the Amphitheater to the Amphitheater Lawn, there are stairs that lead up to the Rose Garden as well as some benches. If you’re trying capture several people at once, the stairs make it easy to stand in rows and squeeze more people into a photo without having to worry about height differences. During spring, the cherry blossom trees that bloom in this area also make for the sweetest photo backdrops, especially for a romantic proposal.

Sakura Meadow: The oak trees in Sakura Meadow are deciduous, meaning the leaves will change color and drop. The ground below the trees willget blanketed with piles of leaves giving it a true fall feeling. If the autumn vibes are what you’re after, Sakura Meadow is our top spot for photos!

Alpine Lane: Off Tram Road, Alpine Lane is another popular fall photos locations. It also provides an ambience that feels secluded and enchanted. Ground ivy, Juniper plants and pine trees make this trail feel like a woodland forest. If you’re looking for areas that give fairy-tale vibes, Alpine Lane has several.
