“The Great Pumpkin Hunt South Coast Botanic Garden
October 3 – November 1: Take a walk through the Garden and be on the lookout for ten festive fall stations. Each station will be decorated and have a pumpkin sign with questions about the Garden. Make sure you stop by the real pumpkin patch to estimate the weights of this year’s pumpkins. Complete an entry form with your answers and estimates. Pumpkins will be weighed once it is full-grown, and a winner will be selected from entries with correct answers and closest estimates. Check back here often to see when the Pumpkin Weigh will occur. One entry per person per day. Visit the front entrance kiosk for entry forms and more information. Happy Hunting! Daily, 9 a.m. -5 p.m. Adults, $9; kids (5-12), $4.
