Evergreen shrub or small tree, up to 25 feet tall and wide; heart-shaped leathery leaves, 4 to 8 inches long, with whitish pubescent undersides. Full sun, to part sun. Moderate water, drought and salt tolerant.   Photos by Laurel Woodley
