African Wattle

African Wattle is an evergreen tree  that may grow to 40 feet and bears pinnate or fethery leaves. Flowers are produced during the summer with branched, terminal clusters of frilly bright yellow petals.  This plant does well in full sun and responds to regular watering but tolerates some periods of drought.   Photos by Laurel Woodley
