NEW! Geocaching Workshop - Summer 2014

Classroom A

Facebook Event: Here

Location: Classroom A and Garden Grounds
Workshop free with paid Garden admission
Instructor: Peter Olpe and Robert Kliman

Geocaching is a modern-day sport that is akin to treasure hunting. Instead of a worn map marked with an X, you use a Smart Phone or a GPS receiver to locate one of over 2 million Geocaches hidden around the world. And instead of hunting for a buried chest, you're looking for a cache hidden in an eco-friendly site above ground.
This workshop introduces Geocaching to anyone, whether you are a family looking for a fun outing, a traveler looking to explore new places, or even an adventurist looking for a new challenge. Learn how to geocache in the workshop and then go on a real geocaching adventure on the Garden’s premises.

*24-hour advanced registration is strongly encouraged.
