Yellow Floss Tree

A deciduous tree that grows to 20-30 feet requiring moderate moisture and tolerating seasonal drought.  Prefers full sun and well drained soil.  This species is often confused with Ceiba insignis in the literature.  Photo by Laurel Woodley
