In being more than just another pretty place, South Coast Botanic Garden is a dynamic space with many hidden trails and a playful curiosity that may just stir something inside of both children and adults. Traditionally National Public Gardens Day raises awareness of America’s public gardens and the various roles they play in communities nationwide. We are excited to open our gates for a day spent exploring the vast 87 acres of the Garden, but more importantly, diving into the layers of memories and nostalgia that make the Garden, “Your Garden”. We have partnered with our friends at Palos Verdes Library District in presenting their Pop-up Library to our youngest members. Our most unique and stunning plant collections will showcase small-group tours with insider knowledge on the intriguing stories of how they came to be and the Garden’s locally-world-famous instructors will be conducting hands-on demonstrations to teach you their tricks of their trade. In a great day to introduce friends and family to your special place, we truly thank you for your support.

Schedule of Tours and Demonstrations will be posted here soon!
