    Our mission to change the way the world celebrates Christmas includes reevaluating how we celebrate and the environmental impact of our traditions. We have partnered with local businesses to offer sustainable, environmental, and unique products, including Fair Trade ornaments, and locally made recycled glass ornaments. We support local environmental groups that share our environmental goals of raising awareness and participating in the community.

  • Duplicate Bridge Class

  • Fruit Tree Pruning Demo

    Speaker: Rick Wheeler, Certified Arborist and owner of Island Mountain Tree & Plant Services

     

    With 40 years of experience, Rick will walk you through the basics of the correct method of pruning fruit trees. Winter is the time to prune many trees, including fruit trees for superior growth in spring. Learn how to protect the health, beauty, and value of one of the most important natural resources on earth, your trees. Raffle included. Demo will be held rain or shine. Wear comfortable walking shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather.

Living in California, Master Wang is an authentic Monk from The Shaolin Temple in China challenging the principles he was taught throughout his life.   • Yoga in the Garden - Winter 2013 (Series Begins Jan. 5)

    When we have the opportunity to take yoga out of the studio and into a natural setting, we can experience the true beauty in the practice. In these eight weeks, feel the peace and energy of the garden become one with you. The pace and difficulty of this class is appropriate for most individuals. Each class will begin with joint opening, progress to deeper stretches and flows, and ultimately be guided into meditation. Please bring a mat and dress for the outside. In the event of rain, we will still have class, but we may need to move it inside.

    **Drop-ins are allowed and are $12 per class for members and $15 per class for non-members. Please register in the Gift Shop.
