Location: Amphitheater Included with Garden Admission Join us for a casual afternoon adventure this Mother’s Day!  The whole family is encouraged to bring a blanket and join us on the Lower Meadow for this colorful program, where our leader will read “The Day the Crayons Quit” by Drew Daywalt. Afterwards participants can take inspiration from the story by crafting a group mural of our colorful garden, and families can join forces on a color swatch scavenger hunt. No reservations required.

Destination Science Camp June/July/August Monday – Friday Kids in Kindergarten through 6th Grade are invited to design and create forts and contraptions, make a space movie, motorize and construct a roller coaster, build a Bot-Team, launch a rocket and see in virtual reality at four new STEM focused camps at the Garden. Learn about the Garden’s transformation from an underwater wonder, to an open pit mine, to a trash dump, and into a beautiful botanic garden.
