This four-week course will provide you with all the information you need to grow a cool-season edible garden including fruits, vegetables, and herbs. We will discuss plant selection, plant schedules, planting from seed and starter plants, basic soil preparation, water, sun and climate requirements, harvesting, and gardening resources. We will also discuss various approaches to edible gardening including raised beds, container gardening, and in ground directly. Organic gardening practices will be encouraged.
