    Sponsored by the South Coast Dahlia Society. Dahlias, native to Mexico, are ideal plants for a herbaceous border, bringing drama and excitement to many gardens. Flowers bloom in all colors except blue. Blooms may be single, double, pom-pom, tiny or dinner plate in size.

    The rose is one of the oldest flowers known to man and still one of the most popular.  The rose is the flower is love.  It was created by Chloris, the Greek goddess of flowers. An All American Rose Society (AARS) Judged Show.  Beautiful blooms will be on display:  Floribunda, Hybrid tea, and old garden Roses.  Some roses and tools will be available for purchase.  Expert advice from Rose Society members.

  • Fuchsia Show & Sale

    From delicate white to pink, red, and deep purple, the plants you are dreaming of will be waiting for you at the 31stAnnual Fuchsia Festival.  This year we are featuring fuchsia species and first generation crosses.  They are hardy and most are mite resistant, perfect for our southland climate.  A new attraction will be the ‘must have’ fuchsia of the year.  It may be destined to become your new favorite because of its hardiness and adaptability.  It is appropriately named ‘First Success’.  Come check it out.  Along with some old favorites, we’ll have some new varieties from which to choose. 

    Fuchsia experts will be available to answer your questions.  Buy a fuchsia, a pot and soil and we will repot your purchase at no additional cost.  There will be four free raffle drawings over the two days.  Each prize will be worth $25 for items of your choice at the festival.
